Our Advocacy Committee is responsible for championing and working towards meeting the NEMPN Board and community’s advocacy goals through a variety of channels. Our current (2020-2021) goals include:

NEMPN’s national leadership and committees to link NEMPN chapters to critical conversations and provide an incredible support network for EMPs across the world. EMPs can contribute skills such as graphic design, fundraising, community building, editing, organizing, etc. Current committees include:

NEMPN chapters are all over the country (and increasingly going global!) They organize local events and activities. NEMPN’s Board also organizes national and regional gatherings plus biannual town halls, and national webinars on a variety of topics.

Write for Theory and Practice.
Theory and Practice: The Emerging Museum Professionals Journal is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal co-produced by the National Emerging Museum Professionals Network and The Museum Scholar. We invite submissions from emerging professionals across the community, including all institutions that utilize a collection to educate the public. There are no fees to submit or publish, and all published articles will be free for all to read.
